Tutti Frutti Women

Hey there, Tutti Frutti Women family and all the amazing people out there! It’s us again, bringing awareness to another important cause. This time, we want to talk about head and neck cancer.

April is Head and Neck Cancer Awareness Month, and it’s the perfect time to spread awareness about this often-overlooked type of cancer. Head and neck cancer refers to a group of cancers that affect the mouth, throat, nose, sinuses, and salivary glands.

It’s estimated that over 70,000 people in the United States will be diagnosed with head and neck cancer this year alone, with an estimated 10,000 deaths.

As always, prevention and early detection are key to fighting any cancer. Some risk factors for head and neck cancer include smoking, excessive alcohol consumption, and exposure to certain viruses like HPV (human papillomavirus).

However, the good news is that there are plenty of ways to reduce your risk. Quitting smoking, limiting alcohol consumption, practicing safe sex, and maintaining good oral hygiene can all help lower your chances of developing head and neck cancer.

Like with many cancers, early detection is crucial for effective treatment. Symptoms of head and neck cancer can include a persistent sore throat, hoarseness, difficulty swallowing, a lump or swelling in the neck, and ear pain.

If you experience any of these symptoms, it’s important to speak with your doctor right away.

Treatment options for head and neck cancer vary depending on the stage and location of the cancer, but they may include surgery, radiation therapy, and chemotherapy. Depending on the severity of the cancer, your doctor may recommend a combination of these treatments.

But we’re not just here to talk about the serious stuff! Here at Tutti Frutti Women, we believe that raising awareness can be fun and creative.

Our NFT collection celebrates cancer survivors and warriors, and a portion of the proceeds goes toward cancer research and weekly health grants to members.

By our NFTs and being a part of our community, you can show your support for head and neck cancer awareness and help us make a difference in the fight against this disease.

And just like we did for esophageal cancer awareness month, we’re inviting you to participate in our head and neck cancer awareness campaign. Create a visual that promotes awareness for head and neck cancer, and tweet it using #TFWtalkscancer and tag @tfw_nft.

Let’s work together to spread awareness and support cancer patients and survivors around the world!

We know that head and neck cancer isn’t a topic that’s easy to talk about, but it’s important that we do. The more we raise awareness and educate people about the risks and symptoms of this disease, the better equipped we will be to fight it.

By coming together and using our creativity, we can make a difference in the lives of those affected by head and neck cancer.

So, let’s keep spreading the word and make this Head and Neck Cancer Awareness Month a success. Together, we can make a difference in the fight against cancer!
