Gold is the most essential currency in Lost Ark as it is used to buy accessories and materials from the marketplace. The more gold you make, the faster you'll progress and the stronger your character will get. The best ways to get gold include doing Adventure Islands, getting all weekly Una’s Tokens, crafting in the Stronghold, and completing Challenge Abysssal Dungeons and Legion Raids.
Gold is the most essential currency in Lost Ark as it is used to buy accessories and materials from the marketplace, hone gear, and overall progress in the game.
However, it's far from easy to get, and players will always need more. After all, the more gold you make, the faster you'll progress and the stronger your character will get.
In this guide, I will list the best ways on how to get gold in Lost Ark and explain everything you need to know to get rich quickly.
Before farming gold, check out our guide on how to get to level 50 in Lost Ark and what to do right after. After you reach this point, then you’re ready to start farming gold.
How to Get Gold in Lost Ark
Do Adventure Island Daily Quests
Weekly Una’s Tokens
Crafting in Stronghold
Challenge Abysssal Dungeons
Legion Raids
There are many activities that players can do to get gold in Lost Ark, and they keep increasing with every update. Let's examine the best ones.
1. Adventure Island Daily
Adventure Islands are one of the most consistent ways to get gold. Specifically, every two or three days, one of the daily Adventure Islands will award gold, which is based on your item level.
I highly recommend doing Adventure Islands daily and always prioritizing the ones that award gold.
Especially during the early game, this will be one of the best ways to farm gold.
2. Weekly Una’s Tokens
Completing Daily and Weekly tasks will award you with Una’s Tokens. The higher your item level, the more Una’s tokens you will get.
Then, you can exchange Una’s Tokens for chests that include gold. Overall, you should try and earn the maximum amount of Una’s Tokens every week. The best way to get them is to complete weekly missions on your main and alt characters.
3. Crafting in Stronghold
Stronghold crafting is an extremely profitable activity where players can craft certain items and sell them at the marketplace for profit. While this can be extremely profitable, it also requires a fair amount of effort in the form of market research.
You need to find an item that is expensive to sell but that you can buy its crafting materials cheaply.
Keep in mind that there’s no guaranteed item that will always sell, so you’ll have to check the prices beforehand.
Challenge Abyssal Dungeons are a weekly activity that has players replaying some of the early-game abyssal dungeons. These are fairly easy to complete, and what makes them worth it is that after completing any of them, players have a chance of getting a Legendary Card Selection Pack in the auction afterward.
These packs are probably the most expensive item in the game, and players are playing anything ranging from 2,000 gold up to 50,000.
If you get this drop, hope for the other players to bid high, and you’ll get a large amount of gold (one player pays and gets the pack while the other three share the gold).
For instance, if a player pays 15,000 gold for this pack, the other three players will get 5,000 gold each. And all of that will be for a five-minute dungeon.
5. Legion Raids
Overall, the best and most consistent way of making gold in the end game is Legion Raids. The more characters you have, the more Legion Raids you’ll be able to complete per week and the more gold you’ll make.
Each character can complete up to three Legion Raids per week, and this can be repeated on six characters each week. If you’ve reached at least ilvl 1475, you can complete Valtan Hard Mode, Vykas Hard Mode, and Kakul-Saydon Normal Mode each week for a solid amount of gold.

As for whether you should buy the chest or not, the answer is simple: buy it only if you need the raid-exclusive materials to craft the next tier of armor.
However, getting new characters is difficult, especially if you have to level them up from scratch. Thankfully, Lost Ark is giving out Powerpasses soon when new classes are released, while players can also buy them from the shop at any time.
Powerpasses are the best way to help a new character catch up to your main roster and, thus, an ideal way for making gold. But how do you get and use powerpasses in the game?
How to Get and Use Powerpass in Lost Ark
During class releases, Lost Ark offers players free powerpasses. This way, they can play the new class and reach end-game raid content quickly. Additionally, players can choose to use the Powerpass on any class they want, not just the newly-released one.
For instance, during the , the game gave players a Punika Powerpass that will get one character from level 1 all the way to level 50 and 1302 ilvl.
To get the Punika Powerpass, players will need to complete the main story quest, “Berver’s Friend,” which requires completing Punika’s storyline with one character. Then, check your in-game mail and claim it from there.
To use the Powerpass in Lost Ark, after claiming it, go back to the character selection screen and select the character you want to use the powerpass on. If it’s a new character, create the character first and go back to the character selection screen right after customizing them.
