COUNT VIII: VIOLATIONS OF MAINE STATE LAW
487. Plaintiff State of Maryland repeats and re-alleges and incorporates by reference each and every preceding paragraph and allegation of this Complaint as if fully set forth herein.
488. The aforementioned acts of Amazon violate the Maryland Antitrust Act, MD Commercial Law Code, Ann. § 11-201 et seq.
489. Further, Section 11-209(b)(3) provides that the Court may exercise all equitable powers necessary to remove the effects of any violation, including injunction, restitution, and divestiture. Plaintiff State of Maryland is entitled to costs and reasonable attorney’s fees. MD Commercial Law Code, Ann. §§ 11-209(a)(4), 11-209(b)(3).
