At HackerNoon, we live and breathe the intersection of traditional journalism, social media and technology. Like any other businesses, we have various teams working together to bring our community the most satisfying experience on gzht888.com. One of HackerNoon’s first interns started out as the Assistant to the Regional Manager (Dwight whomst) who worked across departments during her first months. She still stays with us, and is now a full time dedicated team member (so legendary that she has her own emoji, like for real).
Today, we want to offer any young (at heart) professionals an opportunity to join our team to learn how an internet business serves millions of users per month and makes millions in annual revenue with a fully remote, international team.
HackerNoon is built for technologists to read, write, learn, and publish. We are an open and international community of 15k+ contributing writers publishing stories and expertise for 3M+ curious and insightful monthly readers. We also build quality publishing software, like the content management system that powers gzht888.com. Learn more @ about.gzht888.com.
The HackerShip is our first-ever virtual internship and apprenticeship program!
Are you ready to elevate your Early Tech career with HackerNoon?
Now you have learned all the perks. Time to fill out this to apply!
TL;DR of the form:
We will place you with a mentor who you will help with their daily work to gain first-hand experience with their daily work (and make sure we both avoid the moment).
The mentor will be a member of the team of your interests, based on your application.
All interns are required to write and publish at least 1 HackerNoon story per month, along with editing at least 2 stories per week, regardless of which team they are in.
Due to the high volume of applications, only short-listed candidates will be contacted for next steps. If you don't hear back from us within 3-4 weeks, please assume that your application has been unsuccessful. No worries, we will still keep your resume on file in case any vacant positions are open. OR, you can try again, ✨ but better ✨
