1. Off The Wall (1979) - Album
Michael was Originally part of a group with his brothers known as The Jacksons. Once Michael went solo, he worked with legendary music producer Quincy Jones. Together they created Michael’s first solo album, “Off The Wall.” The album has 10 tracks, with the most popular song on the album being “Don’t Stop Till You Get Enough."
2. Thriller (1982) - Album
Michael and Quincy started production with his second solo album which would be titled “Thriller” with 9 amazing tracks to listen to. Thriller became the number 1 Album in the world, Showing how much of a musical genius Michael was. The most popular songs on the album are “Billie Jean,”--which is also his most famous song--“Beat it,” and the one and only “Thriller,” the album's namesake song.
3. Bad (1987) - Album
“Bad” would be the last album Quincy and Michael would work on together. The duo were going their own ways but “Bad” was still a hit with 11 tracks to listen to. The most popular song is “Man In The Mirror.” Michael was on tour from 1987-1989 for the “Bad” Album.
4. Dangerous (1991) - Album
Even with The first album without the magical duo, Michael proceeds to make a successful album. After being dubbed the King Of Pop, Michael became a legend. His fourth album titled “Dangerous” has 14 tracks to listen to while the song “Black Or White” is the most popular out of the album. This made lots of fans question what was going on. Since Michael had a drastic change in his appearance.
5. The Jacksons: An American Dream (1992) - TV Movie
“The Jacksons: An American Dream” is a TV movie that told the story of where The Jacksons came from and what they accomplished. We see the story unfold from when The Jacksons were born To The Victory Era. Michael was played by Wylie Draper who did an amazing job at playing the part.
6. History (1995) - Album
The “History” album is a mix between new tracks and some of Michael’s most famous songs from the past. “History” provides 19 new songs that Michael had recorded; the most popular one being “They Don’t Care About Us”.
7. Blood On The Dance Floor (1997) - Album
“Blood On The Dance Floor” is a remix album with different remixes from the “History” album. If you don’t like the mixes, don’t worry, the album also provides 5 new tracks that are good to listen to.
8. Invincible (2001) - Album
“Invincible” is Michael’s last studio album before his death. The album contains 16 amazing tracks, with the most popular one being “You Rock My World” with Chris Tucker. There have been many different opinions on this album, overall I think it’s good.
9. Thriller 25 (2008) - Album
“Thriller” deserved a 25th Anniversary album. The album has many cool tweaks. First, Michael released 3 unreleased and never heard before tracks to the album. Not only does it have 3 new tracks, but it also has all the original “Thriller” album songs on it and a few mixes. It even provides exclusive interviews and conversations about the work of “Thriller.”
10. This Is It (2009) - Single
“This Is It,” is a Single Song that Michael recorded during the preparations for his “This Is It” Tour the night before he died. The song is very slow and emotional.
11. Michael (2010) - Album
Even after Michael had died, his music will be forever live. The Jackson estate wanted to release an album in memory of Michael. They went through all of Michael’s Unrelated songs And picked 7 songs to release. This was Michael’s first posthumous album. Yes, there are 7 tracks, but originally there were 10 tracks. You might ask, what happened to the other 3? According to many sites, the 3 songs that were removed were not sung by Michael himself and instead by an imposter. Which has caused heavy controversy regarding the album.
12. Bad 25 (2012) - Album
It was the 25th Anniversary of Michael’s hit album “Bad.” The Jackson estate decided to find 8 unreleased tracks from Michael’s files and release them. Not only that, but the album has different mixes of the tracks.
13. XSCAPE (2014) - Album
The Michael Jackson estate thought it was time to release Michael’s second posthumous album, which would be titled “XSCAPE,” featuring 8 unreleased tracks that Michael recorded throughout the 80s. A bonus track also features Justin Timberlake and--not only that--but the original versions of the 8 unreleased tracks on the album.
14. Michael Jackson: Searching For Neverland (2017) - TV Movie
“Michael Jackson: Searching For Neverland” is a lifetime movie that goes through the last 3 years of Michael’s life, and it successfully shows us that Michael was not just the King of Pop but he was also a father. Multiple scenes focus on Michael’s personal life and his relationships with his children, and also the special relationships he had with his bodyguards. Michael was played by Michael Jackson’s real-life decoy, Navi, who is also An MJ impersonator.
15. Scream (2017) - Album
There is really nothing special about this album. There are no new tracks and it only provides some of Michael’s most popular songs and also some Jacksons songs.
16. Thriller 40 (2022) - Album
The 40th anniversary of “Thriller” gives us a new album that features 9 new unreleased and never heard before tracks that Michael recorded in 1982. It also includes demos of tracks from the original “Thriller” album and a few different mixes.
17. Michael (TBA) - Movie
Just a few months ago, Lionsgate announced that a Michael Jackson biopic is in production. Antoine Fuqua will direct the biopic, along with the help of John Logan. The movie will portray the complicated man who became the King of Pop. Who will play Michael though? Well, we just found out, Michael’s real-life nephew, Jaafar Jackson will play his uncle Michael in “Michael”. We all hope he’s going to do great.
