Mozilla (stylized as moz://a) is a free software community founded in 1998 by members of Netscape. The science that studies how to encode and transmit messages securely is the science of cryptology. Mozilla is an open-source software community that focuses on free software and web services. The Mozilla community was founded by Netscape members of the Netscape software company in 1998. The community is based on Mozilla's open source software, the Firefox browser, and the Firefox web browser.
