Startup Interview with Vivek Khatri, Director & Founder, at Emizen Tech

I’m Vivek Khatri, director of Emizentech. Additionally, I’m a professional eCommerce consultant and certified Magento expert. After performing varied IT roles and offering various services utilizing digital strength, I assisted my teammates in founding our dream of an IT firm, Emizentech.

What's your startup called? And in a sentence or two, what does it do?

Our IT firm is called Emizentech, which is an eCommerce and web development company. Besides, we offer all types of IT services, like software development, app development, eCommerce development, and a lot more. We provide our clients 24*7 support to be all set with solutions to all their problems and maintain their reputation.

What is the origin story?

It’s the tale of a few years back when I worked hard to attain my career objectives. At that time, I was performing almost all the critical IT roles to serve the IT needs of my clients. After fulfilling varied IT relevant requirements of my clients, I thought of achieving something big by teaming with more people like me. That moment was a turning point in my life. I founded an IT firm, Emizentech, to expand our IT services even more.

What do you love about your team, and why are you the ones to solve this problem?

Our team belongs to diverse backgrounds. We are equipped with tech experts holding years of experience and expertise. I like the way my team meets our client’s requirements. Their utmost goal is always customer satisfaction. It makes me feel proud of my team and their way of achieving business objectives.

If you weren’t building your startup, what would you be doing?

I have always witnessed myself serving the varied IT needs of my clients. It is where I find myself an expert. So, I can just imagine myself as an eCommerce expert assisting my clients in their eCommerce development journey.

At the moment, how do you measure success? What are your core metrics?

Various metrics are important to measure the success of any business. We use varied metrics to track the performance of our business. However, the chief among these metrics is Retention. The retention rate is inversely proportional to the churn rate. We get to know our repeat customers who repeatedly come to use our services. If our past clients are satisfied with our services, then apart from retaining them, we can expect new clients also.

What’s most exciting about your traction to date?

I'm surprised by what we have achieved to date. Our team has proved that we can achieve everything we want through dedication, hard work, and a perfect strategy. In the upcoming years, we will expand our services in various other parts of this world.

What technologies are you currently most excited about, and most worried about? And why?

We are excited about the futuristic technologies that are growing year by year and gaining popularity. I am more concerned about the speed we need to maintain to stay updated and beat the competitors to survive in this revolutionizing world.

What advice would you give to the 21-year-old version of yourself?

You need to cover a long journey that will not be an easy job. To make everything simple and the journey seamless, you need to trust yourself, learn from your mistakes, and don't allow people to harm your confidence. You will achieve your life's objective.

What is something surprising you've learned this year that your contemporaries would benefit from knowing?

The brilliant beginnings will take you to the desired end. We need to hire highly experienced and deserving candidates who may help attain the expected project’s needs. Customer satisfaction is also essential, so your team should take care of that. Customer feedback will help you with future goals. So, be sure that it may appear to be positive or in your favor.
