In Greek mythology, Zeus is the god of sky and thunder. He was seen as a king and ruler of humanity and all creation. On top of that, he was also the father of Ares, Artemis and Athena, who you will also find in our game. We will talk about them further down the line. Zeus used his iconic thunderbolt not only to dominate the weather, but also to bring justice and order to the Greek pantheon and humanity, which is the reason why people worshiped him.
In Battle Of Olympus, Zeus’s major feature and his exclusive power is lightning. He will channel his fury and devastated his enemies with shocks and special moves. He can zap, stun and throw bolts from a distance, making him a jack-of-all-trades in ranged and melee combat. Any poor soul that faces Zeus will require speed and accuracy to dodge his attacks, otherwise, they shall feel his wrath.
His kit is versatile and flashy, making him easy to play as, but difficult to master. Overall, he has a playstyle that will suit even the most experienced players, allowing them to relentlessly overpower their opponents.
Hades reigns over the realm of the dead across the river Styx. He is the eldest of the Titan Cronus’ several children, which include his brother Zeus, son of the Titan Cronus. Following the defeat of the Titans, Hades was appointed to rule the underworld and ensure that no departed souls left it. In Ancient Greek his name means “the unseen one,” which was used by various other Greeks to address him out of fear of pronouncing his name.
One of the daughters of the Titans Oceanus and Tethys, Metis was an Oceanid nymph, Zeus’ first wife, and is now a major character in Battle Of Olympus. Known as a trickster, her domain consisted of wisdom and cunning. Ancient Greeks believed that she was even able to shapeshift and morph into other beings.
