The multiplayer is still awesome
GTA V's multiplayer, GTA Online, still has an extremely loyal fanbase and a very active player database. The game is packed with a variety of features to discover; it includes heists, racing, and a vast map. Additionally, there is always something new being added, including a recent new mode or a massive update like The Doomsday Heist. This latest update was GTA's 20th jubilar update that included many new missions and enticing additions to part of the map.
The story is great
GTA V's story is one of the best in the series. You play as three different characters, each with their unique arc, and the game does an excellent job of intertwining their stories. In addition to the main story missions, there are hundreds of side quests and activities to keep you busy. For example, you can go hunting or fishing, play tennis or golf, go to the movie theater, gamble in the casino, or participate in any number of illegal activities. You could easily spend 100 hours and still not do everything the game offers.
The graphics are still impressive
Even though GTA V is seven years old, the graphics are still quite unique. Sure, some games look better, but GTA V's art style is timeless. The updated visuals in the PC version are awe-inspiring, and they make Los Santos feel even more alive. Plus, with the power of mods, you can make the game look even better.
The modding community is incredible
GTA V's modding community is one of the best in gaming. Some mods allow you to change the weather, add new cars or weapons, or even play as Iron Man. And if you get tired of the plain “vanilla” GTA Online experience, some mods change the multiplayer entirely, like the popular FiveM, which adds new roles and areas to explore.
It's continuously being updated
GTA V might be seven years old, but it's still getting new updates and content. Rockstar is constantly adding new things to the game, whether it's a new vehicle or a whole new area to explore. For example, the recent Ill-Gotten Gains update added a ton of new high-end vehicles and clothing options for all players.
There's always something new to do
GTA Online is constantly evolving, with new content being added regularly. In addition to the frequent updates, special events take place from time to time, such as the recent diamond heist event. This event allowed players to team up and rob a diamond store, and it was a blast. With so much new content being added, there's always something fresh to experience in GTA Online.
Players can make money in GTA Online
GTA Online has a robust economy that allows players to make money through various methods. You can run a nightclub, become a CEO of a criminal organization, or invest in the stock market. If you're smart and patient, you can easily make enough money to buy all the best cars and properties in the game and then sell them to other players for real money. There are many GTA V marketplace sites where players securely trade in-game assets using real money.
The music is amazing
GTA V has one of the best soundtracks of any game, period. There's a massive variety of music, from classic rock to hip-hop to country, and it all fits perfectly with the game's setting. Also, one of the most remarkable features of GTA V is that you can play your music in the game through radio stations that you can create yourself. This allows players to customize their experience and listen to the music they want to hear while cruising around Los Santos. Hearing Fleetwood Mac's "The Chain" while cruising down the Pacific Coast Highway is an absolutely magical in-game experience.
It's funny... most of the time
GTA V is a hilarious game, thanks mainly to the writing. The game doesn't take itself too seriously, and that's one of the things that makes it so enjoyable. For example, one of the missions has you stealing a tank and then using it to destroy a rival gang's drug lab. It's over-the-top and ridiculous, but it's also a lot of fun.
It's just plain addicting
GTA V is just an incredible game, and there's no other way to put it. It is also a bit of an addictive game. Once you start playing, it's hard to stop. That's not necessarily a bad thing, though. After all, isn't that what we want from our games? Something that we can't put down?
