My Six Month Job Search - The Lessons I Learned

You are right, my experience was very specific. That was my reason for the comment about having “every ounce of privilege a human body can contain”, because for someone who hasn’t been in tech as long; doesn’t have the connections I’ve made; is in a different segment of the industry; (and so on) it’s going to be different.  And you’re also right about the job application landscape changing on almost a weekly basis.

With ALL of that said, I will also point out that the jobs I collect and share each week on my website have grown in volume every week for over 2 months now. So I’m going to take that as a positive sign.
